Representatives and members of The Federation of Thai Industries, Petrochemical Industry Club (FTIPC) attended Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference 2023 (APIC 2023) under the theme “Ushering in Sustainable Future” in India. This conference is the 41th of APIC, held from 18-19 May 2023. There were 24 attendees from FTIPC and totally 776 attendees from 16 countries.
Mr. Charoenchai Pratuangsuksri (FTIPC Chairman) is representatives of Thailand to present vision, direction and current situation of Thailand's petrochemical industry which operates under BCG economy policy comprising of Bio-Circular-Green Economy, includes coordinated efforts, which are key to building sustainability for industry, society, and the environment simultaneously. These include collaboration between the Federation of Thai Industries, PPP Plastics, and the Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW) on three pilot projects for sustainable plastic management, and cooperation between the Federation of Thai Industries, businesses, and relevant government agencies on pilot projects for managing volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
