  Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC)  

Incorporated in 1979, the East Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (EAPIC) had established itself as a major industry forum that was originally organized between the north Asian countries of Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. In the year 2000, the hosting role extended down south to Asian countries of India, Malaysia, and Singapore. In the same year, the conference was renamed the Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC).
